John Cucci

John Cucci, a 15 year veteran of the anatomic pathology industry, joined Acupath in April 2015 as Director of Business Development and was promoted to Chief Sales Officer in January of 2017.  Prior to Acupath, Mr. Cucci served in senior sales leadership roles at several leading lab industry organizations including, Theranostix (now P4 Diagnostix), VitalAxis LIS, PLUS Diagnostics (now Miraca Life Sciences), and Dianon Pathology (LabCorp).  John has witnessed and played an active role in the significant transformation of the AP industry from a purely global services business, to one where physician partnerships and revenue generating business models are integral to the industry.  John has established himself as a subject matter expert and proven leader who understands how to build a sales team capable of success in an increasingly competitive and challenging industry.  In addition to overseeing the sales and marketing departments, John is responsible for developing and executing the company’s strategy as it pertains to new markets, tests, and services.
